We are establishing an 18 month appointment pool for vacancies that may arise. We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.
Suitable candidates will be placed in the appointment pool from which opportunities may be offered as vacancies arise. Candidates may also be considered for similar positions within South Regional TAFE as they arise during the life of the pool. If the appointment pool is exhausted prior to the pool expiry date, we reserve the right to supplement the pool through further advertising.

About the role
The lecturer’s primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements. Lecturers also undertake Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery. In order to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.
Relevant Qualification and Experience
To be eligible for employment applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Hospitality, however a Diploma of Hospitality would be highly regarded or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years working in the area of expertise.
South Regional TAFE prefers lecturers to hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116, or TAE40110 and the additional units of competency in Schedule 1, Item 2 of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015
