Expression of Interest Recovery Officers

Assisting the Hervey Bay Community recovering from the flooding event we are seeking expression of interest for Recovery Officers.

Recovery Workers play a vital role in Community Recovery's initiatives by providing compassionate support, assisting with grant applications, and ensuring effective service delivery during disaster recovery operations.

Working for IPA by Synergie contracted to Community Recovery you will provide guidance and assistance on available support to individuals impacted by this disaster, including access to financial grants.

What we are looking for in Candidates to support fellow Queenslanders in the Departments Recovery Hub:

• Customer Service Experience: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• System Proficiency: Proficiency with systems for data entry.
  
• Compassion and Sensitivity: Ability to provide compassionate and sensitive support to individuals experiencing trauma.
  
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and manage issues effectively.
  
• Adaptability: Flexibility in managing ambiguity and responding to rapidly changing conditions.
  
• Collaboration: Experience working with stakeholders.
  
• Must be able to pass a Police Check.
