At CBD Auto we are an automotive workshop shaping the future of intelligence led mechanical solutions for our customers vehicles, both service and repairs. With over 3,500 customers vehicles annually and 50+ trade business relationships, we are a young and driven team growing our workshop aiming to be Brisbane’s southside most trusted mechanical workshops.

The Service Advisor is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting workshop operations and providing team support in the workshop/s.

Job responsibilities

• Ensure customers are welcomed warmly and build rapport
• Provide the link between the workshop, the front office and customers
• Liaise with Workshop Manager and Auto Technicians about customer needs and communicate mechanical scope of works for each vehicle
• Answer and manage phone queries in a courteous and timely manner
• Arrange service bookings and reporting
• Prioritise work schedules for repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance on vehicles
• Provide maintenance and repair quotes and invoicing for customers
• Authorise and place parts orders are required
• Ensure all compliance, safety and legal obligations are strictly adhered to
• Ensure equipment is maintained and kept in accordance with operational requirements
• Liaising with insurance companies, adjusting quotes and invoicing out repairs
• Arranging mobility (uber, taxi, loan cars, courtesy bus) for customers
• Managing CBD email inbox of all incoming enquires
• Process stationary orders, banking and filing.

Experience and Qualifications

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30616)
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical components of vehicles
• Proven mechanical skills in servicing, repairing and maintaining vehicles
• Prior experience in customer service, managing an automotive workshop and being a Service Advisor
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel)
• Must hold a valid, Current Australian Drivers Licence;
