APS6 Program Manager

Part time - 30 hours per week
Location: Hobart
Hourly rate: $65 - $70 per hour + super
Contract Duration: 7 month duration with a possibility of a 12 month extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage program activities for the Specialist Training Program (STP), Psychiatry Workforce Program (PWP), and Medical Physicists Support Program (MPSP).
• Provide high-level administrative and evaluation support, ensuring compliance with project deadlines.
• Liaise with key stakeholders through regular meetings and correspondence.
• Oversee a busy shared inbox and respond to internal and external queries.
• Analyse and resolve complex issues related to programs and stakeholders.
• Contribute to business improvement initiatives, policy development, and operational procedures.

About You:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience or knowledge of Australian Government program management and grant management protocols.
