The opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Property Officer to join our team and provide a high level, professional service with regard to the efficient management and administration of Councils Commercial leases and licenses.

Providing support to the Property Manager and the Property and Facilities Coordinator with regard to Councils Commercial Property Portfolio, this role will play a key role in negotiating, preparing and administering leases and licences across our Commercial and Retail sites.

• Lease advice and support to external and internal stakeholders
• Negotiation, preparation and administration of leases and licences
• Administration and reconciliation of lease accounts for Councils Commercial Property Portfolio
• Collaborate with the Property Manager in undertaking property inspections, arranging maintenance works, advertising and marketing as required
• This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
• Base Salary Range: $74,379 - $87,503 pa based on 35 hours / week + 11.5% superannuation + $10,780 motor vehicle allowance + $2,312 retention allowance
• You will be working from PSC Admininistration Building, Raymond Terrace

• A degree qualification in Property or Commerce, or a related field with several years of experience in Property Management within specialist Real Estate; public authority or local government environment
