About the role

This full-time Automotive Mechanic/Technician role with CKD Automotive based in Mona Vale, NSW is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing automotive service and repair business. You will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive mechanical repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and reliability of customer vehicles.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose, repair and service a range of makes and models including Volkswagen, Subaru and Nissan
• Carry out scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and component replacements
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and rectify mechanical faults
• Provide customers with clear explanations of work required and estimated costs
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and safety at all times

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in automotive mechanics or a related field
• Demonstrated experience as an automotive mechanic or technician, preferably in a workshop or dealership environment
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry developments
