Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and creative Designer with a strong background in bathroom and/or kitchen renovations. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for aesthetics, technical expertise, and the ability to translate client visions into functional, high-quality designs. The candidate must be and be able to lead and drive a team. Strong customer service skills are essential, as this role involves direct client interaction, ensuring their needs and expectations are met with professionalism and care. Additionally, the candidate must have strong knowledge and expertise in the Australian market. This includes familiarity with local suppliers, materials, trends, regulations, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

● Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, functional requirements, and budget constraints. ● Develop innovative and practical design concepts tailored to client needs.

● Produce high-quality 3D renders and visual presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.

● Create detailed sketches, 2D and 3D drawings using industry-standard software.

● Select and specify materials, fixtures, finishes, and appliances that align with project requirements.

● Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and design proposals.

● Work closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of designs.

● Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating design ideas, addressing client concerns, and guiding them through the design process with clarity and confidence.

● Source and manage supplier relationships to ensure we have access to the best materials and pricing.

● Continuously benchmark market trends and competitors to ensure we are working with the best suppliers and staying ahead of the industry. Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and emerging technologies to provide clients with modern, cutting-edge solutions.

● Take ownership of showrooms management, ensuring an optimal layout, product displays, and an engaging customer experience. Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

● Minimum of 5 years of experience in bathroom and/or kitchen design.

● Strong knowledge of the Australian renovation market, with a preference for expertise in Sydney’s industry.

● Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant rendering tools.

● Ability to produce high-quality 3D renders that effectively visualize and communicate design concepts.

● Proven experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management.

● Strong analytical skills for market and competitor benchmarking.

● Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain a showroom, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

● Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are a must, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.

● Strong portfolio showcasing previous bathroom and kitchen design projects.

● Excellent communication and client management skills.

● Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
