About the role:

• Rates: $29.73 per hour plus penalties (rate X 1.5 after 8 hours, rate X 2.0 after 10 hours). The rate increases to $30.72 after 12 months.
• Most days will start between 4am and 6am and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 50 - 55 hours per week. Saturday work is generally available, paid at overtime rates
• Meal allowances are generally paid after 10 hours in one shift
• We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads
• All new starts go through a 10-day training program.

About you:

• Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred)
• You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you're onsite
• You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg Materials sites)
