About the role

LJ Carroll Consulting is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Remedial Engineering to join our team in Rosebery, NSW. In this full-time position, you will play a key strategic role in leading complex remedial engineering projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Manage a portfolio of remedial engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery and exceeding client expectations
• Provide expert technical advice and innovative problem-solving capabilities to address complex engineering challenges
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective remediation strategies
• Mentor and develop more junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise
• Contribute to the growth and development of the remedial engineering practice within the business
• Foster strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities

What we're looking for

• Chartered or Professional Engineer status with 8+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in remedial engineering and building diagnostics
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects and delivering high-quality technical solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
