About the Role

As part of our busy Workshop Infield crew, we have the opportunity for a qualified Tradesperson (or suitably experienced Pump Technician) to join our team and be immersed in the wide scope of works we are exposed to.

Based in our head office in Mackay (no FIFO option available) this role is perfect for a Tradesperson who enjoys the flexibility and opportunity to work on a wide range of pumping and water treatment products and projects throughout the Mackay and surrounding regions whilst continuing to broaden their experience, capabilities!

Service Vehicle and mobile phone provided for Infield tradespersons.

All required accommodation and meals supplied.

Role Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair pumps and pumping equipment
• Troubleshoot and conduct routine maintenance and repairs to pumping and water treatment equipment
• Contribute to the manufacture, install and maintenance of pump stations, pontoons and transfer stations
• Collaborate with the team to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
• Recording of servicing information, photographs and other documentation relevant to the job

Eligibility

• Trade Qualification preferred - Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Plumber / Electrician OR;
• Technician experienced with pumps and / or pumping equipment
• Current manual Drivers Licence
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals and parts information
• Supply own hand tools

Desirable, but not essential

• Forklift Licence
• HR Truck Licence
• Dogging Licence
• Machinery / Operator competencies
• Mine site competencies (Standard 11 Generics, Coal Board Medical etc).
