About the role

Tasman Butchers' is seeking a Casual MR Driver / Store Person to join our hardworking team in Melton, VIC. In this role, you will be based at our Melton store and assist during our peak trading periods and to cover for existing drivers when they are on leave, or unable to attend for work. This role would suit someone looking for occasional work and happy to work blocks of days / weeks to cover periods of leave. The role is jointly responsible for the safe delivery of products to our 9 retail stores across the eastern and western suburbs of Melbourne, as well as assisting with general store operations and stock management.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating a medium rigid (MR) vehicle (with tail gate) to deliver products to our retail stores
• Assisting with loading and unloading of transport vehicles
• Safe & tidy storage of inventory throughout the warehouse storage area
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and stock levels
• Providing excellent customer service to our retail partners
• Supporting general store operations as required, such as stock replenishment and organisation

What we're looking for

• A valid MR driver's licence
• A valid forklift licence
• Experience in a similar driving and warehouse role
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent customer service orientation
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to workplace health and safety
