About the role

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanics / Light vehicle mechanics to join our team at Diesel Repairs Professionals Pty Ltd in Mildura, Victoria. As a Diesel Mechanic / light vehicle mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy diesel equipment, light diesel equipment and components associated in a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and repair a variety of machines, including those used in earthmoving, agriculture and road transport.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, component replacements and component rebuilds
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Automotive Diesel Mechanics or a related field (light vehicle may be accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or light vehicle technician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• A valid driver's licence
