Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Childcare Centre Director to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of nature play and be committed to fostering an environment where children can thrive. As a community-run centre, you will have the freedom to make the role your own without the constraints of a corporate structure. You will be supported by a knowledgeable committee and a team of experienced educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the centre.
• Foster a culture of nature play and risky play.
• Support and mentor a team of passionate educators.
• Collaborate with the committee to ensure the centre's vision and goals are met.
• Maintain high standards of care and education.
• Engage with families and the community to build strong relationships.

Support Team:

• Full-time off-floor 2IC (Second in Charge) with 5 years of experience.
• Educational Leader with 2 years of experience, also the 4-year-old preschool teacher.
• Admin support and finance team.
