About the role

This is a full-time opportunity as a Truck Driver/Factory Hand at Fratelli Engineering, based in Blackburn North, Victoria. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods and materials while also contributing to the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating heavy commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials across metropolitan and regional areas
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks
• Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
• Supporting general factory operations, such as assembly, packaging, and inventory management
• Adhering to all relevant safety procedures and regulations
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products

What we're looking for

• A current Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
• Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Strong commitment to safety and a track record of safe driving
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
