Payroll Officer | Perth CBD | $85K + Super | Permanent Full-Time

A well-established organisation is seeking a committed and confident Payroll Officer to manage payroll operations across the business. Based in the heart of Perth CBD, this role ensures that all employees are paid accurately and on time, maintains payroll records, and stays updated on changes in legislation and Awards that may affect payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
• Interpret and apply WA State Awards, staying informed of legislative changes
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory obligations (superannuation, PAYG, etc.)
• Provide payroll-related support and advice to employees and management
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve payroll queries
• Utilise TechOne as the primary payroll system, with MYOB also in use

About You:

• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience
• Strong understanding of WA State Industrial Relations and Award interpretation
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proactive approach with the confidence to ask questions and resolve issues
