Programmed Trades team are currently looking to appoint a Trade Assistant to work with our client located in Laverton North.

Position is for an immediate start Monday to Friday across day shift. You will be assisting with regular trade assistant and Mechanical duties.

Key Requirements:

• Proven trades experience
• Forklift experience
• Ensure all maintenance and other work is completed to the required standard
• Demonstrate effective conflict resolution abilities
• Good communication skills
• High risk tickets are advantageous

About you:

• Australian recognised Trades certificate as a Vehicle Mechanic / Engineering, or any other technical qualification/experience related to machinery maintenance highly desirable
• Forklift Licence and experience is essential
• Experience in machinery maintenance or good understating of mechanical equipment used in warehousing
• Working in a team environment
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
• Enjoys working in a team
• Ability to undertake a Police check, Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen
