About the role

Datum Fabrication and Maintenance Pty Ltd is seeking a talented Fixed Plant Boilermaker to join our dynamic team in Perth, on a casual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of fixed plant equipment, playing a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client's mining operations.

What you'll be doing

• Performing un-scheduled and preventative maintenance on a range of fixed plant equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing structural defects and mechanical faults on fixed plant machinery
• Maintaining detailed records of all work carried out
• Collaborating with the wider maintenance team to ensure a high level of equipment availability and reliability
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Relevant trade qualification or significant experience as a Boilermaker in the mining industry
• Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of fixed plant equipment
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work independently to identify and resolve complex issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Commitment to safety and a strong understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays
