About the Role
The Finance & Payroll Officer is a key position within the finance team with the primary responsibility of processing the payroll accurately and efficiently. Payroll processing includes importing financial transactions into the account software and remitting PAYG amounts to the ATO. The position also supports the organisation by assisting as required with general finance operations such as processing of travel allowances, accounts payables and receivables, reconciling accounts and other duties as required.
What we are looking for
- Microsoft Suite – especially manipulating data in Excel
- Accounting and Payroll software such as SAP Business One and HR3
- 2 years’ experience in handling payroll in a medium sized organisation (200+ employees)
- High level of proficiency with technology and common software including:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of diverse cultural groups in a confident and fluent manner
- Additional accounts experience desirable
- Experience and knowledge of NDIS desirable
