WorkPac Health and Social Care are seeking experienced Enrolled Nurse staff to work a three-month contract (with possibility of extension) or the option to go permanent within the largest correctional centre in Australia. This is a state-of-the-art Correctional Facility in NSW and is located approximately 3.5 hours from Brisbane, 2.5hrs from the Gold Coast and 6 hours from Sydney.

The Role

The Enrolled Nurse is to assist with the delivery of health care to inmates under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Care is delivered within the Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice.

Promoting the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates

Ensuring the safety and security of inmates and the community

Providing a decent and respectful environment to staff, inmates and visitors.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum of 1-year full-time post-graduate experience (or part-time equivalent)
• Experience in primary health, rural health, or emergency nursing (desirable)
• Current First Aid and BLS Certification (ALS preferred) (12-month validity)
• National Criminal History Check (issued within last 3 months)
• Own vehicle required
