Are you an experienced Finance Analyst with strong FP&A and Power BI skills? Join a not-for-profit organisation in Melbourne's inner suburbs and play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

This is an initial 4 month contract to help the organisation through budgeting season, with an immediate start date.

About the Role:

As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering financial planning & analysis (FP&A), driving data insights using Power BI, and supporting the organisation's financial strategy. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to interpret complex data, and a passion for working in a purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage financial models, budgets, and forecasts
• Provide in-depth FP&A insights to support strategic decision-making
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for real-time financial reporting
• Perform variance analysis and identify financial trends
• Support grant and funding reporting with detailed financial analysis
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to enhance financial planning processes
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting standards

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified (or working towards completion)
• Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Strong proficiency in Power BI and financial data visualisation
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
