The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Trust Accountant to join our client’s finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team in a stable, nurturing environment where your skills will be valued. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing trust accounts and supporting the overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage trust accounts with accuracy and efficiency
• Perform bank reconciliations and handle trust receipts/payments
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions
• Prepare detailed Receipts & Expenditure statements
• Handle data entry and meticulous financial management
• Process creditor payments, manage petty cash, and handle invoices
• Complete end-of-month rollovers and reports

Key Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience in managing trust accounts is a must
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or a related field) is highly valued
• Previous experience in the real estate/property industry is a big plus
• Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero & MYOB
• Exceptional attention to detail and a sharp financial acumen
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A positive, proactive approach with the ability to work well within a team
