Job Type: Part-Time (Negotiable) – approx 8-16 hours / wk
Salary: 75-90K Pro rata (Inclusive of super)

As we continue to grow, we are looking for our Marketing Strategist to elevate our presence in the community and engage both current and potential clients and referrers.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Strategist to manage and enhance our marketing efforts, focusing on website updates, social media strategy, referrer networking, community engagement, local partnerships, and internal marketing resources. This position will play a pivotal role in helping us reach a wider audience, build stronger relationships with referrers, and increase brand visibility in the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage with our community and promote our services.
- Create a content calendar and plan engaging posts (including graphics, videos, etc.).
- Monitor and analyze social media performance, adjusting strategies as needed to improve reach and engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with local referrers (doctors, specialists, fitness trainers, etc.) to generate ongoing referrals.
- Organize and attend networking events, lunches, or meetings with referrers to strengthen partnerships.
- Develop marketing materials for referrers, including brochures and informational packets.
- Update our website to ensure it remains current, engaging, and user-friendly (E.g Add/chance team profiles, blogs).
- Implement improvements, optimize for SEO, and ensure content is aligned with our marketing goals and services.
- Work with the practice owner to ensure the website reflects the latest offerings, promotions, and client success stories.
- Coordinate and manage community engagement initiatives, such as health talks, workshops, or wellness events.
- Represent the practice at local events, conferences, or sponsorship opportunities to increase brand awareness.
- Develop strategies to keep the practice top of mind within the community and increase word-of-mouth referrals.
- Identify and pursue strategic local partnerships (e.g., with gyms, or other complementary businesses) to expand our reach and enhance service offerings.
- Negotiate partnership deals and ensure mutually beneficial relationships.
- Implement joint marketing initiatives with local businesses to boost visibility.
- Update and manage internal marketing tools such as the revolving TV display, group exercise timetable, and in-clinic promotional materials.

- Ensure that in-clinic marketing resources are visually appealing, informative, and consistent with the overall brand messaging.
- Collaborate with the practice team to ensure internal resources are aligned with ongoing promotions, services, and events.
- Generate a regular report for the director summarising key marketing information (New referrers, active referrers, referral sources, planned marketing activities, etc.)

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a marketing role, preferably in the health and wellness industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in WordPress for website management and updates; knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Social Media Expertise: Proven experience developing and executing successful social media campaigns; familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and marketing materials.
- Networking: Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to network and foster connections with local referrers and partners.
- Creativity & Organization: Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage various marketing initiatives simultaneously. Creative and proactive in suggesting new marketing ideas.
- Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of the local community, with a passion for promoting health and wellness in the area.
- Preferred: Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) or the ability to create visually appealing content is a plus.
