- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $110,266 to $122,058 + super
The Water Group leads the NSW Government in providing confidence to communities and stakeholders with the transparent stewardship of water resources, provision of services and reforms that support sustainable and healthy environments, economies and societies across NSW.
The Water Group is currently seeking to appoint an Executive Coordinator (Border Rivers Commission) in an initial capacity to 30 June 2028.
About You
The Executive Coordinator (Border Rivers Commission) provides a range of executive, secretarial and administrative support services across a range of complex issues to support the CEO of the Dumaresq-Barwon Border Rivers Commission (the Commission) and contribute to the efficient and effective running and operations of the Commission.
Key accountabilities include:
- Provide administrative and secretarial support for the Commission and subcommittees, including meeting preparation and timely communication.
- Manage the CEO’s schedule, correspondence, travel, and meeting arrangements.
- Prepare and review high-level communications to support decision-making and responses.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and banking administration.
- Support Commission projects, strategic planning, and contractor procurement.
- Monitor and improve governance and administrative systems for efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Research, prepare, and coordinate Annual Reporting for both states.
- Develop and maintain document tracking, workflows, and records management processes.
Key Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in an executive assistant, secretarial, administrative or other relevant Executive support role.
- Knowledge of and proven ability to interpret and apply government protocols and administration policies, processes and procedures.
- Advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CM9 and Outlook skills.
