About the role:
This role involves safely operating tilt trays to load, unload and transport a variety of vehicles, plant and equipment, responding to road emergencies and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service.
We are seeking applicants that are Sunshine Coast based, with a sound knowledge of areas such as Maroochydore, Buderim, Nambour, Yandina, and surrounding areas.
The driver will be responsible for maintaining accurate towing records and adhere to all safety regulations with the assistance of our in-vehicle systems.
No experience with a tilt tray? No problem! At Clayton’s, we offer full training at our Nambour training facility with our experienced trainers, so you’ll gain the theoretical and practical skills to thrive in this new career. All we ask of you is the willingness to learn!
About you:
Our operators play a vital role in helping individuals during their time of need, ensuring a reliable and safe transportation experience – where no two days are the same. To be successful for this role the following skills and qualifications are required:
- MR licence (or higher)
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work a rotating roster that includes nights on call, weekends and public holidays
- Physically fit and capable
- Knowledge and understanding of safe work practices
Successful applicants will be required to obtain a Tow Truck Authority and White Card following training if they don’t already hold these licences.
