We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Club Manager to champion member experience, foster a positive culture, and lead through change at our Midland and Morley facilities.

Position Overview

Are you an aspiring leader with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to health and fitness? The Club Manager at Sista Fitness is responsible for the day-to-day operations of one or more clubs, including inspiring customer engagement with new and existing members, developing attraction and retention strategies, onboarding new members, and managing member accounts. Additionally, the Club Manager oversees recruitment, staff rostering, training, facility management, and compliance to standards.

As the Club Manager, you will be at the forefront in creating exceptional member experiences and foster a positive club culture, embodying Sista Fitness' 'all care' service-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will be a motivational team leader with strong leadership and people skills, dedicated to empowering women to achieve their fitness goals. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Club Manager must work both independently and alongside team members, to help grow an amazing and supportive team of staff. The successful candidate will receive support and training to develop in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of, and implementation of systems and processes to execute the overall member experience, ensuring member satisfaction and retention.
  • Leverage central and local assets to optimise the knowledge, understanding and connectivity of our membership database.
  • Adopt and align with our corporate values and champion the Deliver the Difference program in your clubs.
  • Positive Club Culture Development.
  • Inspire and lead a high-performing team to create a positive and inclusive club culture.
  • Implement initiatives that promote camaraderie, support, and empowerment among staff and members.
  • Act as a role model for the values and ethos of Sista Fitness, fostering a welcoming and encouraging environment.

Change Leadership

  • Drive positive change initiatives, adapting to industry trends, business change and transition programs and member preferences.
  • Embrace innovation in fitness programs, technology, and member engagement strategies.
  • Effectively communicate and manage transitions to ensure a seamless experience for both staff and members.

Staff Recruitment Development and Engagement

  • Cultivate, lead, and manage a team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and exceeding member expectations.
  • Foster professional growth and development among staff, providing ongoing training opportunities.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive work environment that reflects the values of Sista Fitness.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure efficient day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, functionality and safety.
  • Manage enquiries timely in accordance with the Sista Fitness approach.
  • Execute and coordinate in club promotions, events and activities.
  • Always prepare and present the clubs professionally.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement changes that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong leadership and customer service experience within the fitness industry or similar field. Candidates with a degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related field are highly regarded but not essential. In addition, you will have:

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading teams through change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Passion for promoting women's health and wellness
  • Knowledge of fitness industry trends and best practices
