A major bank in Sydney is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a number of ongoing large projects. The role is initially 12 months with a view to extension.

This is a fairly hands on role involving build and implementation work.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver network transformation project initiatives including traffic and routing migrations, build and enablement of new strategic infrastructure.
  • Implementation of network changes required to deliver a strategic design outcome.
  • Provide detailed design and technical review of network changes, including the troubleshooting of any network related issues.

Key Skills / Experience

  • + 7 years networking experience
  • VXLAN and EVPN
  • Cisco NDFC/ DCNM
  • Expert Cisco Switching/Routing
  • OSPF and BGP
  • Scripting languages and API’s like python- desirable
  • Automation- desirable
  • Ideally CCIE or CCNP
