SustainRecruit is thrilled to be partnering with a growing healthcare business in their search for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 6-month contract. Due to increasing needs across the team, this role will be helping across a few different areas within the team - providing breadth and exposure within the role.

This role will play a key part in providing financial insight, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring financial control and analysis across the business. The ideal candidate will have strong business partnering skills, experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and the ability to support month-end processes.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office and whilst it is initially structured as a 6-month role, there may be longer term opportunities depending on performance whilst in the role / needs across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key finance partner to operational teams, providing financial insights, strategic guidance, and commercial support.
• Work closely with budget holders to review financial performance, forecasts, and variances while identifying cost-saving initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, conducting variance analysis to identify trends and risks.
• Modify financial models and scenario analyses to support decision-making and business strategy.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards, providing financial commentary on actuals vs. budget/forecast.
• Support month-end close processes, including reviewing accruals, prepayments, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data in line with company policies and reporting standards.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACA or similar)
• Proven experience in finance business partnering and FP&A roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
