The opportunity
The College Chaplain provides social, emotional, and spiritual support to assist in meeting the needs of students, their families and staff in ways that will enhance the wellbeing and development of the school community. In order to achieve this, the College Chaplain will work closely with those in key roles of pastoral care and learning support, teachers and the leadership team.

About You
- you do not need to be Catholic to work with us!
- are committed to creating a nurturing and safe environment
- have a Certificate IV or higher that includes competency in mental health and making appropriate referrals
- experience providing pastoral care or working with youth
- experience or willingness to carry out the service aspect of the school such as St Vincent de Paul, aged care visits
- experience in a similar role at a school will be highly regarded

Through our shared purpose, enabling full and flourishing lives we support staff and students to reach their potential.
You will receive regular support from your Principal, Assistant Principal Mission and Identity; all to help you to advance your skills and support you in providing the best possible services to students. You will also be a part of a student wellbeing network and given the opportunity to attend targeted professional development hosted by the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office.
