Our 2026 Ausgrid Graduate Program is your launch pad to an exciting career! Over the 2-year program, you will experience four x 6-month rotations across core areas of our business. Here’s what you can expect:

Who we are looking for:

  • Talented engineering students currently in their final year of studying (or have graduated within the last two years), majoring in Electrical, Power, Computer Science or Mechatronics.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (inc. New Zealand Citizens) at the time of application.
  • Able to take on a permanent position, starting full-time as a graduate in February 2026
  • Problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset and strong desire to learn.
  • Passion for the energy sector and a commitment to innovation and positive impact for the communities we serve

  • Step 2: Video submission - an online, one-way video interview to give us insight into who you are
  • Step 3: Engagement centre – shortlisted candidates will be invited to an in-person engagement centre to learn more about the business and participate in activities and assessments.
  • Step 4: Panel interview- at the final stage, a panel interview with leaders and SMEs
  • Step 5: Pre-employment checks & offer – successful candidates will be welcomed to start the program, commencing February 2026!
