About the role

Albany Hills Dental is seeking a passionate and experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team. This is a casual role based in our clinic located in Albany Creek.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists during various dental procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and providing other support as needed
• Sterilising and preparing instruments and equipment for dental procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Coordinating patient flow and ensuring a positive patient experience
• Providing oral hygiene education and instructions to patients
• Performing administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records

What we're looking for

• Completion of a recognised Dental Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and patient-centric approach
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using dental equipment and software
• A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other healthcare professionals
• A genuine passion for the dental industry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
