About the role

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and trade qualified Chef to join our kitchen team at our client’s residential aged care facility located in Casino, NSW.

• Hours of employment: 40hours per week.
• Thursday - to Monday from 9:00am till 5:30pm.
• Weekend and Public Holiday Loadings apply.
• Relocation cost will be considered.

*The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine, and provide a current Federal Police Check or be willing to apply for one*

Key attributes and responsibilities

• Previous aged care catering experience is highly desirable.
• Commercial cookery qualifications essential.
• High level of QA, WH&S, HACCP and food safety knowledge.
• Previous experience in the design and implementation of nutritionally adequate and appropriate menus specific to Aged Care
• Empathy towards residents, staff and clients.
• Produce high quality, nutritious and well-presented meals in line with aged care food service guidelines.
• Assist the chef manager with menu design and implementation
• Excellent client and resident liaison skills.
• Have reliable transport.
