MyFirstGym is a one stop fitness shop for children from 7 months right through to 15 years. We deliver outcome based programs and inspire kids to fall in love with movement and fitness.

Our development programs are designed to improve children's physical literacy, while our specialty programs are designed to focus on specific sports. Our specialty programs include Acrobatics, Ninja Warrior, Dance, Gymnastics, Parkour, Boxing and MFG Fit.

MyFirstGym also provides Birthday Parties for Kids where kids get to take full advantage of the entire facility as well as enjoying our Programs.

About the role

The role of a MyFirstGym Coach is to inspire children to fall in love with movement and fitness and help them to feel confident and motivated. MyFirstGym Coaches are not just coaches, they are mentors, friends and role models who are passionate about working with children.

All our coaches have great Attitudes towards classes, Belief in our mission and Commitment to giving the very best each time they attend their shifts.

We are looking for Coaches that are open to working across a variety of our classes across the program, this may include:

• Junior Development (7 months - 5 years)
• Parkour/Ninja
• Dance
• Acro
• Gymnastics- Candidates with experience or credentials here will be given priority consideration
• Fitness
• Birthday Party Coaching

What we are looking for?

We are currently seeking coaches who are available to work varying hours during the week (approx. 7hours or more) and at least one day during the weekend.

Skills and experience

• Experience working with children
• First Aid Certificate
• Working with children check
• Strong customer service skills
• A passion for Health and Fitness
• Ability to work well in a team environment
