Glide, a leader in the manufacturing of powered and manual wheelchairs, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assembler with experience to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components to ensure the timely completion of end products, adhering to specifications, and maintaining high productivity and quality standards.

You will accurately assemble components following order forms and job instructions to ensure the final product meets all customer specifications. You will also measure and verify that components meet the required specifications before proceeding with assembly. As a Production Assembler, you will be expected to assemble products efficiently to meet or exceed production targets while maintaining quality standards. It is also crucial that you ensure assembled products are of the highest quality, adhering to company standards and customer expectations.

Additionally, you will be responsible for controlling and maintaining inventory within the designated assembly area to ensure the availability of parts without overstocking. You will also maintain an organised storage system for components and materials, ensuring ease of access and compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience, excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s licence is required.
