Metwest Engineering is a specialist infrastructure supplier that has serviced the rail, road and power sectors across Australia since 1987. MWE are seeking 2nd-4th year Apprentice Boilermakers for onsite works.

Successful candidates will be offered permanent employment with the business and a site vehicle and phone may be provided for the correct individual.

To be successful in this role you must:

• Be enrolled at Tafe in a cert 3 heavy fabrication trade apprenticeship
• Hold a current driver’s license
• Ideally have performed onsite fitting work.
• Passion for this trade
• Responsibility to complete the apprenticeship successfully
• Honest, hard-working and committed
• Hold a RSW/RIW card or be willing to obtain one

Duties include the following:

• Fabrication, All types of welding,
• Installation of Steelwork
• General labouring duties
• Sheetmetal work
• Assisting tradespeople
