About the role
Intelligent Health Care Australia is seeking an experienced and passionate Physiotherapist to join our growing team in Port Macquarie, NSW. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our diverse client base, helping them regain their mobility, strength, and independence. This full-time community position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of your patients ( majority of clients are 65+ ) while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to diagnose and develop individualised treatment plans
- Delivering a range of physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and the use of specialised equipment
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and nurses, to provide holistic patient-centred care
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes
- Educating patients and their families on self-management strategies and home exercise programs
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our physiotherapy services through feedback, research, and best practice implementation
What we're looking for
- A Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Physiotherapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based physiotherapy interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Proficient in the use of relevant physiotherapy equipment and technologies
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field
