Tilbrook Childcare Centre is a community based children's centre located in the heart of Goodwood.

About the roles

We are seeking an energetic, creative and dedicated Diploma trained educator to lead and treasure our small babies room from 6 weeks to 2 years of age. You will be the main educator alongside the 4 babies. Full time position.

We are also seeking a Certificate 3, Working towards Diploma or Diploma trained Educator to join our active and rewarding toddler room from 2 years to 3 years of age. Working along side other Educators within the room. Full time position or part-time

If you are only wanting only casual work we are looking for educators to join our team for regular lunch cover shifts and when staff are on annual leave/sick leave. We require Educators who are flexible, work well within a team and have a positive, happy disposition!

We work closely as a team and are lucky to be in a small centre as it allows us to build strong relationships with each other and the children and families within our care. We share the day to day roles and work together.

A strong work ethic and hands on team based approach will see you succeed and contribute to the ongoing success and high quality care of the children within the centre.

Skills and experience

Skills and experience that we are looking for:

As an experienced Early Childhood Educator you will need: Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Working towards Diploma or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education.

Professional work code of ethics

Self-motivated and display initiative within working as a team.

Ability to work in a team environment, displaying flexibility.

Confident or experienced in working with all ages or will to learn

Flexible with working a range of 7-4 shifts, 8:30-5:30 shifts and 9-6.

Familiar with creating play–based environments.

Knowledge of EYLF and QIP

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and Child Protection Training Certificates.
