Mathoura Preschool is a community based not fot profit preschool. We operate Monday to Wednesday 8.45am – 2.45pm, following the NSW school term. We are a growing preschool looking to expand our team.

Mathoura Preschool is looking to offer for Early Childhood Educators holding a Certificate 3 or Diploma of Early Childhood.

The team at Mathoura works to promote a healthy, safe and enriching environment that provides high quality care and education for children aged between 3 and 6 years in accordance with ACECQA (The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority), the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and other relevant legislation and governing bodies, Service and Centre Philosophy, Policies and Procedures.

Essential requirements:

· Certificate 3 or Diploma equivalent in Early Childhood Education

· Current Working with Children Check

· Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates

· Previous experience working in a Preschool or Long Day Care Centre

· Great interpersonal and organisational skills

· A genuine passion for children's care and education

Duties and skills include but not limited to:

· A positive ‘can-do’ attitude demonstrating initiative and always responding to the needs of children.

· Excellent communication skills within a team and with the children and families.

· In-depth understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

· Ability to provide and maintain a supportive environment for children and parents as well as team members.
