The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced motor mechanic to join our team and lead the workshop operations. This permanent full-time role is perfect for a professional seeking a leadership role in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily operations of the workshop.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse range of vehicle makes and models.
  • Mentor and train junior mechanics and apprentices, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all completed repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing detailed explanations and updates on their vehicle repairs.
  • Maintain accurate service records and manage inventory and parts ordering.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Assist with the ordering and receipting of parts and consumables.
  • Ensure the repair process is efficient, cost-effective, and meets high-quality standards.

What We are Looking

  • Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis in Light Vehicles or higher.
  • At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in motor mechanics.
  • Strong proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Superior communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with European, American, and Asian vehicle brands.
  • Additional certifications in vehicle safety checks and automotive technology or related areas.
  • Familiarity with advanced diagnostic tools and software is a must.
