THE ROLE:
In this hands-on role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in manufacturing high-quality modular buildings. From preparation to assembly, your work will ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist tradespeople with construction, assembly, and installation tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Organise and prepare materials for the manufacturing process.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain quality control and adhere to safety standards.
• Keep the workspace clean and organised.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or as a Trade Assistant (preferred but not essential).
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Construction White Card
• Confidence in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical plans and drawings.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical fitness and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

HIGHLY REGARDED SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL):

• Carpentry, roofing, shed and fencing construction, maintenance, gyprocking, cladding, shop fit-outs, modular building, sheet metal work, or steel frame construction.
• Trade qualifications are an advantage but not required.
