This firm is experiencing strong organic growth and poised to further grow by acquisition. We are seeking to appoint a Tax and Business Services Accountant. You’ll be part of a firm that offers a range of services including Tax Services, Financial Planning, Business Advisory, Asset Protection Advisory, Bookkeeping, R&D Tax Incentive & Government grants work.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be exposed to many different areas of compliance and advisory work.

With your team you will be responsible for assisting in preparation of financial statements, preparation of tax returns (individual, partnership, company, trusts), FBT returns, preparation of Business Activity Statements, tax planning and dealing directly with clients and other stakeholders (ATO/ state revenue offices/ ASIC etc).

What qualifications and experience do you need?

• A minimum of 3 - 4 years recent, relevant experience in Public Practice and ambition for your career development
• Studying towards CA or CPA qualifications
• Knowledge of Xero and XPM is an advantage but not necessary
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
