The Opportunity

The Shire of Murray, a progressive organisation located in Pinjarra, is seeking a self-motivated Asset Management professional to capture and maintain accurate data and information relating to the Shire's infrastructure assets.

The position is responsible for ensuring that the Shire's infrastructure asset registers and asset management systems are kept up to date, relevant, accurate and accessible for reporting purposes.

The ideal candidate will possess a good working knowledge of asset management principles and practices relevant to municipal infrastructure, facilities and services. They will also have experience with accurately collecting field data and maintaining asset and mapping systems and databases.

The position on offer is permanent full-time, working 76 hours across a 9-day fortnight, and reports to the Manager Assets and Property. A salary range of between $80,643.83 to $85,977.97 per annum will be offered based upon skills, knowledge and experience.

We want to hear from you if you have:

• High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite and internet applications.
• Previous experience in a local government asset management role, or a similar environment.
• Project research skills.
• Sound interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to develop relevant networks.
