About This Opportunity
Drive the effective operation and enhancement of student systems as a Senior Systems and Project Officer. You will lead system administration, support, and development initiatives, ensuring optimal performance and contributing to projects that elevate the student and staff experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide advanced technical support to users, addressing complex problems and faults.
- Lead efforts to enhance systems by identifying issues, evaluating solutions, and implementing complex configurations using best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and design business processes.
- Design, review, improve, and publish complex forms and workflows.
- Lead the development of systems-related documentation, including business cases, specifications, and technical reports.
- Manage technical project activities, including business case development, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing coordination, change management, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
About You
- Undergraduate degree with relevant experience and demonstrated effectiveness in delivering customer-focused service and maintaining a consistent and reliable level of support.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other internal stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Knowledge in all modules of CareerHub with accreditation as a CareerHub Workflow Champion (or working towards).
- Extensive experience in relevant technologies (including CRM, M365 applications, Power Automate, student administration systems) and the capacity to identify and support the implementation of new technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to conceptualise, describe, design and implement process improvements.
- Demonstrated technical project experience in developing and maintaining system/project documentation, leading user acceptance testing and contributing to change management activities.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
