The Positions:
Join a team of dedicated and highly skilled practitioners who provide specialised clinical support, making a meaningful difference to individuals, families, organisations, and communities. Our client specialises in behaviour support, training, assessments, complex consultations, and therapy. Duties of the role include, but are not limited to, conducting risk assessments, clinical assessments, program design, plan mediation, implementation monitoring, and data analysis under supervision and direction for clients (both adults and children) with complex needs, including intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses. The role also involves providing direct training and therapeutic, activity-based support to clients, offering staff and carer training on specific topics and short course material, and delivering systemic support to agencies as contracted and negotiated through the supervisor. You will participate in staff workshops and team development activities, maintain client files, and assist with administrative duties. Additionally, you will attend professional workshops as negotiated, complete monthly reports, and participate in weekly reviews of work tasks with the supervisor. The role requires engagement in scheduled clinical supervision, booked group supervision sessions, and facilitating intra-agency communication and collaboration.
Criteria:
- Must hold a Bachelors Degree (Minimum) in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science or other related discipline
- Existing core or proficient NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration
- You will have a background ideally in clinical assessment, child protection, disabilities , mental health or other.
- Ability to obtain an ABN
- Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle (Although the position is remote and flexible, there is an expectation that you would visit your clients face to face in order to conduct assessments). Mileage as per award is reimbursed
- WWCC/ Police Check
- Unrestricted work rights to live and work in Australia.
