About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team at Recycling Plastics Australia in Kilburn, South Australia. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the electrical systems in our recycling facility. As an Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery, and systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues to minimise downtime and disruptions
- Installing, upgrading, and modifying electrical systems and components as required
- Ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations
- Providing technical guidance and support to other members of the team
- Maintaining detailed records of all electrical work and inspections
What we're looking for
- Fully qualified Electrician with a current electrical license
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as an Electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
