We’re on the hunt for a diesel-driven legend to keep air compressors, boosters, steam generators, nitrogen production units, and heat exchangers running like a dream.

If you know your way around high-pressure systems, can handle a spanner and a bit of banter, and don’t mind the occasional offshore adventure, we should talk.

This is a workshop-first, offshore-second gig. Most of the time, you’ll be at Bibra Lake (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday), but when duty calls, you’ll be offshore or on-site for one to three week stints.

Offshore work makes up 20 to 40 percent of the year, so you get the best of both worlds—steady South of the River workshop work with a splash of adventure.

Your Toolkit for Success

• A trade qualification – LV or HD mechanic (if you’ve got diesel experience, even better).
• Mechanical know-how – If it has pistons, hoses, or pressure gauges, you should know what to do.
• A cool head under pressure – Some of these machines make a coffee plunger look weak.
• Paperwork skills – We know it’s not fun, but you’ve got to keep the records ticking over.
• The ability to hose down problems – Experience with 1”, 2”, and 4” flexible hoses is a bonus.
• A passport to the offshore life – Must be able to pass an OGUK medical every two years.
