About the opportunity:
Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Vacancy: Permanent full-time or part-time, hours negotiable + Fixed Term Temporary part-time, 12 months
Location: Medical Imaging Department, Townsville University Hospital
Provide education to staff, patients, and the public regarding the clinical and safety considerations specific to Nuclear Medicine services and provide a patient focus to the performance of duties.

Enjoy a generous remuneration package including:
- Salary range: $79,051 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)
- Salary range: $39.86 to $58.59 p.h. (HP3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification applicable to Nuclear Medicine
- Current Registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
- Radiation Use Licence issued by Queensland Health - Radiation Health.
- The successful applicant must possess:
- Desirable – evidence of professional development activities.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
