The Role:
We are looking for two Business Development Managers who will be responsible for driving growth and revenue in the energy efficiency sector, with a particular focus on selling hot water heat pump solutions in regional Victoria. The role requires strategic business development skills to identify, engage, and convert potential clients, build long-term relationships, and position the company as a leader in the heat pump market.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities (Business to Business)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Actively track and report on sales pipeline and performance metrics
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure seamless customer service and retention
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of success in new business development, ideally within the farming, agriculture, education or Not For Profit sectors.
- A strategic BDM who is good with digital marketing and referral marketing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively pitch to and influence decision-makers
- Strong networker with a good demonstrable business contacts and relationships
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated and driven, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating autonomy
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
- Current valid Australian drivers' licence.
- Must be an Australian Permanent resident/Citizen.
