About the role

As a Tour Guide with The Australian Adventure Company, you’ll turn your passion for the outdoors into unforgettable experiences for visitors from all walks of life. As a new company, your role with us will have many opportunities to grow into new and more senior positions. This casual position is perfect for individuals who love working outdoors and sharing conversations with a vast range of people. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. Applicants must be 25 years or older (required for vehicle insurance purposes).

What you'll be doing

Conduct engaging, informative, and entertaining guided tours around Sydney's top landmarks and attractions

Share your knowledge and enthusiasm for the city's history, culture, and hidden gems

Ensure the safety and comfort of tour participants throughout the experience

Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service

Adapt tour content and delivery to cater to the diverse needs and interests of each group

(If applicable) Safely operate a tour vehicle while transporting guests

A friendly, outgoing, and passionate personality with a love for Sydney

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and captivate an audience

Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing an exceptional experience

Flexibility and adaptability to handle different tour group dynamics

A reliable and punctual approach to work

An interest in learning and sharing information about Sydney's history, culture, and attractions

(If applicable) A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
