About the role:
An opportunity exists for a Credit Controller to join a leading business in the logistics industry. Reporting into the General Manager Finance, you will be responsible for managing the credit function, ensuring outstanding collections, minimising aged debtors, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
The role is based in Sydney CBD and offers a dynamic work environment with strong collaboration across Operations and Finance teams.

The responsibilities:

• Manage the credit function across the business.
• Ensure timely opening of customer accounts following credit checks.
• Monitor and collect outstanding amounts to minimise aged debtors.
• Implement strategies to improve efficiency in credit processes.
• Conduct continuous due diligence and risk assessments on credit procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide accurate debtor reporting and financial analysis.
• Handle escalations and inquiries professionally.
• Prepare and generate weekly and monthly reports.

The successful applicant:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
• Advanced computer literacy, including Oracle Fusion ERP Accounts Receivable and MS Office.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively resolve issues.
• Experience in the stevedoring or logistics industry (desirable).
