Our client is a respected construction company specialising in high-end residential and commercial shotcrete applications. They are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Shotcrete Labourer to join their team and assist with manual shotcrete applications.

About the Role

As a Shotcrete Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in shotcrete spraying and cutting, setting up and maintaining equipment, and ensuring the job site is safe and operational. This role requires previous experience in manual labouring, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in manual shotcrete spraying and cutting under the guidance of a Crew Leader.
• Lay and set up pump lines safely to industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free worksite, ensuring all areas are safe for operations.
• Wash down equipment and flush out lines at the completion of works.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures, including hazard identification and reporting.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to workplace safety requirements.
• Complete necessary documentation and job site forms.

What We’re Looking For

• Labouring experience in construction, concreting, or shotcrete work (essential).
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a high level of fitness.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork, and a commitment to safety standards.
• Manual driver’s licence (essential).
• Previous experience in industrial safety procedures.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Qualifications

• Shotcrete spraying and/or cutting experience.
• HR or MR truck driver’s licence.
• OHS – Red Card (Construction Induction Training).
